Leonardo Da Vinci

Leonardo Da Vinci was a scientist, engineer, mathematician, inventor, anatomist, artist, architect, botanist, musician and writer. He was viewed as the epitome of the "Renaissance man" or universal genius.One of his more famous works of art, The Last Supper, painted in Milan during the 1490s tells a story and is believed to hold secrets from the time. Most of his paintings were of saints or religious figures whose body languages told a story. Da Vinci was a scientist as wells as an artist. He brought a scientific approach to art in the Renaissance that forever impacted how the human body was drawn/ sculpted. Consideration of bodily proportions arised. Da Vinci showed people the ability of the human mind and body.
